Harry Miller

Harry Miller was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland and received his college education at Wesleyan University. He first visited China in 1986, spending most of his time in Nanjing, where afterimages of the Ming and Qing dynasties became lifelong fascinations. From 1988 to 1992, he lived in Taiwan and achieved near-fluency in Mandarin Chinese while working for a container liner company.
