Pier Luigi Zanatta

Pier Luigi Zanatta was born in 1949 in Modena into a Venetian family. He was for a long
time a correspondent in East Asia for the leading Italian News Agency, ANSA. He has also
worked in Paris, London, Washington, New York and in Rome as chief editor at ANSA’s
international desk. Back in Europe since 2008, he settled in France and still writes
occasionally about Asian geopolitics for specialised magazines.
